Sudarshan has been specializing in colors and chemicals for over 60 years and has established a significant presence in pigments and agrochemicals in India and around the world. Sudarshan is the leading pigment provider, both Indian and multinational, in the world’s fastest-growing economy, with more than 35% market share. Sudarshan began manufacturing pigments in 1952 with a small number of inorganic pigments and has since expanded to include a wide range of products, such as traditional azo pigments, high-performance pigments, effect pigments, and pigment dispersions. We primarily service the coatings, plastics, ink, and cosmetics industries.

The Challenge

The Key Challenges were as follows: 

  • Managing staff attendance and dynamic attendance changes based on up to minus 60 days of regularization.
  • Real-time attendance tracking, employee performance evaluation, and each employee’s shift-based working and overtime hours were verified.
  • If an employee’s working hours are less than their working time, an automatic leave deduction occurs.
  • Managing the employees’ shift substitutions.
  • Handle the attendance audit lock generation.
  • Company-wise, employee-wise, and group-level multiple role-based logins and access rights.
  • Begin working in the chemical industry 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, handling multiple shift schedules for all staff.
  • Employees work multiple hours dependent on production demand; therefore, managing OT and working based on the allowed shift requirements change according to the non-availability of particular skills among employees.

ORIOLE understood the business requirements and customized the ORIOLEPay MyHRMS to suit the customer’s requirements. A tailor-made team was deployed for this situation, consisting of solution architects, developers, UI designers, and QA.

 The ORIOLE team worked in an agile manner to deliver a state-of-the-art system using a cloud solution on-premise deployed on the client’s internal data center.

  • ORIOLEPay MyHRMS was developed further to suit the client’s needs.
  • At each facility, there is an employee registration desk with a registration device connected to a central cloud server through an MPLS/Internet link.
  • Immediately, real-time attendance capture data began to flow to the main cloud server.
  • Various analytical reports were created based on attendance.
  • Examine the current status of the previously requested leave.
  • Approving the member of the reporting team’s outside duty Use the smartphone app to ask for long or short leave.

  • Record your face or finger using any biometric device within a second.
  • Real-time attendance capture began to flow to the main cloud server.
  • Punch mobile attendance with or without a photo and with geolocation.
  • Apply through the smartphone app for full-day or brief outdoor work.
  • Approving the reporting team member’s outdoor duty.
  • Utilize the smartphone app to request a full day or brief leave.
  • Examine the current status of the previously requested leave.
  • The reporting team member’s leave should be approved or rejected.
  • Integration of the payroll system to guarantee timely salary payments.
  • Integrated mobile solution for smart attendance, employee self-service, and manager self-service.
